About Me

 

writer | farmer | educator

Grover Wehman-Brown is a writer, freelance editor, and farmer living in the hills of Western Massachusetts. In 2016 she earned a PhD in Communication during which she researched rurality & homelessness in the U.S. 

She completed a BFA in Writing for Poetry, Publication, and Media at the Pratt Institute and is co-owner of Ostara Luna Farm, a permaculture medicinal herb farm, with her wife Nova.

Writing and Editing Experience:

  • translating research to the general public
  • producing digital content for small businesses
  • editing and reviewing academic manuscripts
  • transcription 
  • new stories and opinion pieces 

She is also available to develop workshops & guest lecture about homelessness, affordable housing policy, classism, and rural cultural politics in the U.S.
